The Integrative Coaching Revival Programme
Most executives develop a sufficient ego strength to withstand the pressures of corporate life, even if it requires living with a degree of frustration or background level of stress. However pressure can gradually build in the system and crisis points can cause cracks to appear - symptoms may start to emerge ranging from depression, apathy, extreme anxiety or stress or even heightened emotionality. The executive then is asked to live with an ongoing maladaptive state of being , which shows an underlining sense of 'burnout' or deep fatigue in the physical system. Psychologically this state often represents the profile of a deep split between the deeper 'real self' and the outer 'corporate self' , which comes to be felt increasingly as the 'false self'.
The Revival Programme is specially designed for 'burnout' clients. It will address the presenting issues full on, and provide a compassionate support in the unraveling of the mess and a holding of the inevitable process of descent and deconstruction. It will then offer the guidance necessary for a gradual reconnection to the values of the core self and a rebuilding of the psyche to become more functional and fluid in the workplace - and in life. A key element of this reconstruction is the setting in place for the future, more adaptive behaviour that will enhance self-esteem and inner strength as well as habits of self-care and self-awareness.
Structured within the coaching process of rehabilitation, there may be referrals to associates working in complimentary medicine practices. These practitioners will be trusted colleagues who have proven to work well with 'burnout' symptoms : these treatments may include deep-tissue massage, acupuncture, cranio-sacral osteopathy, naturopathy or even a detoxification retreat.
